Hey everyone!
Hope you all are enjoying this spring weather as much as I am, LOVE IT! Yay, spring is here and summer shortly to follow. I am so itching to get outside! Not to mention engagement photo sessions and weddings are soon to be coming my way, I am so excited! This is going to be a great summer and year, I just can feel it!
For those of you who may not know, I was recently interviewed in the current release of ALT Magazine April 09' print copy. Alt Magazine is a local periodical that covers a variety of subjects and art news. Feel free to check out the article here:

In other news, I have been quite a busy girl lately, I recently just completed a two shoots last weekend, one was for 414 Magazine and the other was a Beauty shoot. The 414 Mag photos obviously have to stay under wraps, until they determine which ones to use, but I am excited to see the results. There was also another photographer onsite shooting, so it will really will depend on what their selections are in the long run. Fingers crossed there are some great ones!
The beauty shoot I did last Sunday with a new Makeup/Hair/Wardrobe stylist that I will be working with frequently in the coming months. Her name is Rosalee Eichstedt and here is her website if you want to check it out, she is a rockstar and the nicest person you will ever meet, not to mention is she beyond creative when it comes down to it, you will definitely be seeing a lot of her moving up in the fashion world going forward:

Here is a sneak peek of two different Beauty looks we accomplished on Sunday, with two wonderful models Brittney Giessel and Nicole Feltz, these girls rock and I will be working with them also moving forward into summer on shoots, so stay tuned for what we come up with, it is sure to be amazing!
More shoots coming soon...so please stop by again soon!
Till next time!

Hey Everyone! How are you all?! Great I hope, and if you are local, I hope you are surviving this crazy winter weather....I fear the cold is about to do me in, if Spring does not get here soon! Brrrrr~
Well let me say starting off that this has been a crazy busy last few weeks for my photography and business!
Where to start....well first of all, the Fashion Fridays Stylista show was great fun and all of the people invovled did a great job. I was fortunate to be able to cover the event as a photographer, along with other professional photographers from there area.
And, to top it off, Madison Magazine and Brava Magazine, posted two separate great blogs discussing the event in detail, and some of my photography was used. Feel free to check them both out here:
Brava: http://bravastylefile.wordpress.com/2009/03/03/tgi-fashion-friday-an-insiders-look/

Overall, I thought the event itself was great and I loved seeing all the fashion, makeup and hair come together. Not to mention, the event organizer, Kristi Moe, did an excellent job! I cannot wait to see what other events that she holds in the future.
Okay, onto other news, that same weekend I had the great fortune to do a collaboration photoshoot with Makeup and Hair Stylist Marie Guthrie, with Peerless Beauty and Model Deanna Kay. We are still making final decisions on the final photos, but here is a sneak peek of one taken that day. The goal of this one was just to create a fantastic red lip look with crazy big hair, basically a beauty headshot. My question to you, can any of you guess what the backdrop is!?
So stay tuned for a future blog which will show more results from this shoot. I can hint at that some of the other collaboration that day was to get a more wedding inspired look also, one of which you will find below.
Okay, onto some other great, great news! I have recently signed up as a Pro member with a local Milwaukee organization known as Bucketworks. The goal of this great place is to be "A healthclub for the brain" or in other words, almost like a creative collective for artists, photographers, actors, entrepreneurs...you name it, there is probably a member for it. The main reason that I joined was so that I could have an interior place to do more studio like settings for some of my photography, something I have been itching to do and because I thought it was just great that there is this local organization dedicated to a creative outlet format. So anyways, here is a link to bucketworks, feel free to check it out and I am definitely looking forward to the creative juices I am sure that this place will help generate in my brain when it comes to my photography. Yay!

Okay, that is the update for now. But definitely stay tuned for future blogs, I have quite a bit of things cooking in the photography line up for my business. And cannot wait to share it with you all.
Until Next Time!
I know it has been a long time since I blogged, but I thought I would post a quick update. Things are going great here, I am looking at some options for studio rentals from time to time and am working on getting more fashion photo shoots scheduled. All of which I am excited about!
I also have a brand new Wedding Special going on, if you are interested in hearing more about it, click on the wedding special link to the left. And then contact me if you are interested, I have already had 2 couples so far sign up, so the openings are booking up quickly!
Finally this Friday is the Stylista Runway Show in Madison, WI. I will be there as a photographer capturing the event, as will some other photographers. It is a great opportunity to come out and support your local fashion industry and have a great time no less! For more information, click here: http://www.madisonfashionweek.com/
That's it for now, wishing you all a happy week and lets hope this cold snowy weather goes away soon, I am so ready for Spring! lol
Till Next Time!
